The Boat

A catamaran is a flat on the water, a home sweet home under sail, with the finest garden in the world and never the same view twice — not to mention the infinity pool in every shade of blue. Our mount, Milo-One, is a Catana 582 catamaran, 19 m long. She is first of all our home, our safety at sea and, more than that, our faithful crew member. The one without whom none of this would be possible.

The voyage Today we are living a dream: leaving as a family. We left dry land in January 2006 and have lived aboard Milo One ever since. Heading west, carried by wind and current, weaving between the northern and southern hemispheres, our wake has lengthened year after year across the seas and oceans of the world. Casting off, sailing, changing our lives, taking the time to live — as a family, quite simply, from one landfall to the next: new cultures, new landscapes, new faces, and the plain joy of shared moments — fleeting, generous, intense, and always unforgettable. A life-sized adventure, and a magnificent human one.
